Family Policy Studies Centre
An organisation which researches issues of family trends and public policy. It is particularly concerned with the understanding of contemporary family structures and patterns. This includes changes that are taking place within family structures, and the implications of these changes in terms of policy and practice. The Family Policy Studies Centre acts as a forum which:
• Analyses issues with regard to the study of family and related policy using its own research staff
• Provides information for dissemination and debate, aiming to serve as a bridge between policy makers, academics and practitioners and to produce a range of material which is available to the public.
